Abdul Rehman Antulay is convinced over Karkare issue

This is beyond my comprehension why Karkare didn’t go to Taj, Oberoi or Nariman House where the terrorists were holed up. Why he chose to go to a different place”.

"Superficially speaking they (terrorists) had no reason to kill Karkare. Whether he (Karkare) was a victim of terrorism or terrorism plus something. I do not know,"

Currently he is Union Minister for Ministry of Minority Affairs (India) under Manmohan Singh's government. Mr Abdul Rehman Antulay.

Our ministers seem to be very gullible and change their instance when the wind is blowing the other way.He thinks Karkare's death and Malegaon is not interconnected now.He seems quite satisfied by the evidences and thinks no further enquiry need to be made in that direction

Any way , Nobody knew who Mr Antulay was untill he made such nasty remarks. So was it just for publicity.?As per other parties, he said such a thing to secure the Muslim vote bank. And Congress ,though thoroughly rejected Antulay's statement, doesn't have the guts to terminate his membership in the political party.
Oops Muslim votes it seems!!!!!
Would they realise that muslims are also sensible people and they know what is happening in here. They came out in open and condemned Antulays remarks.

I personally do agree the Karkare might have been the target because he was apparantly close to untie the Malegaon mystery.Which was an act of terror. And any such act must be condemned and probed and culprits should be shown no mersy on any religious or personal grounds. But that remains another issue altogether. It is no way connected to the recent Mumbai attacks. It was an unfortunate accident and it is as clear as it could.
Antulay saw the opprtunity to get another sensational issue out of it and tried to interlink the two.
some kind of marketing strategy ,i must say. Use your brains somewhere else and you could do good to the society.
We indian hindus and muslims have realised too what extent these political parties would go to save their ministership

The outrage over AR Antulay’s insinuation that Hindu radicals could have played a role in the killing of ATS chief Hemant Karkare on

Tuesday finally forced the government to describe the minister’s remarks as “wrong and deeply regrettable”. The script of the ‘statement of regret’ was unfolded in Parliament after the government leadership got the minister’s approval
